1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to Reductinn (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application (“App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the App and Services immediately.

2. Medical and Wellness Disclaimer

Reductinn offers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) training modules, background sounds, and other supportive content for individuals experiencing tinnitus-related concerns. The Services are provided for informational and educational purposes only and are not medical advice. The Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and do not create a doctor–patient relationship. The Services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified healthcare provider if you have questions regarding your health, medical condition, or treatment.

3. Anonymous Access and Data Storage

No named account required: The current version of the app does not require a named account, email address, or password to use core features. The app may create an anonymous backend identifier so it can save and restore progress.

Data Storage with Firebase: We use third-party technologies, including but not limited to Google Firebase, to store and manage anonymous progress records, assessment history, and related app data. We may also use service providers for crash reporting, analytics, and purchase management. By using our Services, you understand and agree that relevant app data may be processed by these providers according to our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property and Restrictions on Use

All content, features, and functionality on our App, including text, graphics, images, audio recordings, videos, and any accompanying documentation (collectively, the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to Reductinn and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any portion of the App or its Content without our prior written permission.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our Content is strictly prohibited and may result in civil or criminal penalties.

5. Eligibility and User Conduct

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must have the consent of your parent or guardian to use the Services.
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, including violating any intellectual property or privacy rights.
You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Services or other users’ access by introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, and national laws while using the Services.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. REDUCTINN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL REDUCTINN, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL REDUCTINN’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, TO ACCESS THE SERVICES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reductinn, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

9. Modifications to the Services and Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Services at any time without notice. We may also revise or modify these Terms at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting of the revised Terms. Your continued use of the Services after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue using the Services.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any disputes relating to them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Thurston County, Washington.

11. Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the interests of Reductinn or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease, and you may lose access to any data stored on the Services.
